The Farm

There have been a lot of cool stops in the last couple months, and among our favorites was the two days we spent with Mitch and Sue Diehl, and their kids Taggert and Margot. They live on 40 acres in the desert mountains just outside of Ventura, CA. They raise sheep, which look like goats to me. They also have a couple of chickens that produce eggs for breakfast!!! The Diehl family was part of the crew from Hume Lake that came down last year to help design and build a giant tree house at El Refugio. The Tree House is a relational space for retreat groups, a place to be together, to play together, to spend time in reflection and prayer.
