The last 2 months have been incredibly full and fast moving, and th
ough it’s been a little tiring at points, catching up with the people that we love has been such a blessing. Time with both of our families has been a major highlight of the summer. Pennsylvania has become our home base for our time in north America, and since nearly all of Beth’s immediate and extended family lives within an hour of Allentown, we’ve had lots of opportunities to enjoy being with them. On July 26th, Beth’s family threw us a big baby shower extravaganza, which
left us feeling much more prepared for the arrival of Baby Reichert! (It also left us scratching our heads about how to fit everything in our suitcases!) On Paul’s side, after a
whirlwind tour of visiting extended family in Ontario, we were able to reconnect with his immediate family in Minneapolis in mid July, a rare event, but full of fun, with 7 nephews and nieces, all age 4 and under! We really treasure the time with family and are so glad that we got to have some of that in the midst of our crazy
