It's been 5 years since I've been in North America during the summer, and I'm still deciding if that's a good thing. I love the long days. It gets dark at 6:30 everyday in Quito. It's also in the 70's everyday, so I've been conditioned (spoiled) my entire life to enjoy a certain temperature range, and as it seems to be getting slightly
warmer with each passing week here, and somehow invisible little creatures keep biting me, I'm starting to think we should plan our next visit home during the fall instead. That being said it is sure nice to be with family, to catch up with friends, to have encouraging conversations, to be able to walk the streets without planning what i'm going to do if someone tries to rob me, and...oh yes...caramel frappuccinos.............oh yes.
